I believe packaging made from renewable resources is the future for disposables.

Garbage has always been a preoccupation of mine. I’m constantly frustrated by how hard it is to minimize what goes into the landfill with the prevalence of plastic and Styrofoam™ packaging. I believe packaging made from renewable resources is the future for disposables.

Using disposables made from plant-based materials is a good first step to reducing environmental impact and alleviating health concerns associated with petroleum-based products. These products will break down in the landfill without leeching toxins, but Alaska needs a commercial composting facility to efficiently and effectively turn them into soil.
